Team – An acronym within an acronym. Together everyone achieves more.
Belief – Belief in ourselves, our team, and our philosophy.
Break the Rules – We question “conventional wisdom.” We may even work the same muscles 2 days straight.
Commitment – We are committed to helping you achieve your goals.
I’m going to be honest with you about my story. I really don’t know what it’s like to be overweight but I do know how it feels (and I’ve helped many people who were overweight). As a kid, I had a difficult time gaining weight so I was teased and picked on. This didn’t stop me from participating in sports of all sorts. It also fueled my fire to get bigger, stronger, and more athletic. I guess I had something to prove.Before I discovered the amazing formula that we now use at TBBC, I started gaining weight but it wasn’t the right kind of weight in the right places so it made me uncomfortable.
I held my first fitness boot camp in May of 2004 and have been a full time personal trainer for over 14 years. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree (Cum Laude) from Queens College and I’m also certified by the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association). (Check out our full story here.)
Being a trainer myself, I understand why many people don’t seem to be able to achieve the fitness results they desire. I believe the biggest reason for a lack of results boils down to not having the proper guidance. Believe it or not, I don’t think it’s a lack of will power or laziness that is holding you back. There’s no reason to blame yourself if you’ve ever failed to achieve a fitness result.
The problem is hiring a qualified personal trainer for proper guidance and education can be difficult to find not to mention expensive. An affordable alternative to one-on-one training that provides an equal amount of education and guidance can make all the difference. These and other frustrations led me to develop the Total Body Boot Camp of Long Island. A boot camp is only a fraction of the cost of traditional personal training and comes with a ton of guidance and motivation.
