Check out Super Trainer Sam as she talks about her quest to be able to do a chin-up. Many women avoid even trying to perform this exercise because they assume they will not be able to do it. In most cases, this simply is not true. With consistency and perseverance, YOU are capable of great things, just like Sam- even a chin-up! Just think of where you were when you first started at Boot Camp. Just like Sam, you might have a hard time doing even 1 push up, or 30 seconds of mountain climbers. What about a plank? Do you remember? I bet your ability to perform is much better now then it was then! Why? Hard work, quality training here at TBBC, and consistency. Now take those qualities and use them to get to the next level- just like Sam! And don’t forget to give Sam a big Hoo-Rah!
I remember so many nights at home hanging from that bar and I too can now do chin ups. Anything is possible if you set your mind to it. You do have an amazing feeling of accomplishment. My husband was so proud of me when he saw me do it too. As you said, most women cannot do it or don’t even try. So, ladies….start “hanging” from that bar. You will be able to do it!!! You are stronger and more capable than you think you are.
