“I started bootcamp a little over a year ago, after realizing I’d gotten really comfortable in my relationship, and ended up gaining about 30lbs. I immediately was drawn to the tight-knit classes, the acceptance of everyone involved (from trainers to members), and within the year, I’d dropped about 15 lbs. I feel better about myself, better about my endurance and better overall about my daily choices. I think more before I eat things, and even when I want to spoil myself, I now have the knowledge to know how to do it without going overboard. That relationship has since ended, but my relationship with myself has only grown stronger, thanks to TBBC!”
Have you set any goals recently? It is such a great way to accomplish amazing things. The key is to not get discouraged if you don’t reach every goal right away and to keep striving and pushing forward- that’s what Colleen did…
So, my second goal that I had emailed way back on March 19th, I did not accomplish. As it turned out, I had to go to Los Angeles for work from June 12 – June 17th and so I couldn’t participate in the Corporate Challenge. Totally out of my control.
So even though that didn’t happen, I still wanted to reach my personal goal of running a 5k. And, I’m not telling you this b/c I’m looking for the points but just because I’m proud of myself and know you will be too. And soooo, even though I didn’t reach my goal on June 14 … I reached that goal today!!! Yay me! 🙂 haha I ran the Wednesday night 5k in Eisenhower park and although I came in 181 out of 193 people, I ran the 5k in 36:20 without stopping … my original goal was to come in under 45 minutes without stopping, so in my opinion, I killed it! So thats my starting point and I can only get better.
Thanks to everyone at TBBC for supporting me and getting me in a shape that allows me to even be able to run a 5k without having to stop or gasp for air. You all are great and I just want to thank you so much!!! 🙂
…”Although I wasn’t able to attend as many classes as I would of liked to during the term of my membership I thought you’d like to know that the classes I did attend thought me a great deal about proper ways to exercise as well as different exercises which I have continued to use. As a result of this and also reading your nutritional blogs I have been able to lose 15 pounds in the last 6 weeks! I am proud to say that today I am under 200 lbs for the first time in 2 years! I am not done with my weight loss goal though as I hope to lose another 25! Thank you for the great workout experience and you will be sure to see me as a customer again!”
…”two weekends ago, May 13, I completed the Tough Mudder in the Poconos. Man, what a great time! It was tough, but REALLY fun! I finished the 12+ mile obstacle course in 2 hours 9 minutes (which is an AWESOME time). Training at TBBC really helped me and I’d like you to pass along a big THANK YOU to Sam.
This past weekend, I ran my first 5K of the season. I ran my personal best time (19:06) and finished 4th overall and 1st in my age group! Again, my training at TBBC with Sam helped a lot.”
“Hey TBBC team! Just wanted to share some great news I received today. I will be a bridesmaid in two weddings this September and it just so happens that the dresses are being purchased at the same store. I was measured for one dress in January and I was measured for the second one today. I was curious to know how my measurements had changed since then so I had them look it up. Since January I’ve lost 2 inches in my waist and 2 inches in my hips! I was amazed! And that’s with only two workouts per week! Imagine if I could make it three or four times! Just wanted to thank you for the very noticeable results!”

“I lost 100lbs. prior to starting Total Body Bootcamp and it was great but the weight loss began to slow down and I wasn’t building any type of muscle in my body. I had heard about this amazing Bootcamp class in Farmingdale and was considering it but I felt like I wasn’t going to be able to keep up with the other people in the class and that I would make a fool out of myself….I was pretty much talking myself out of doing it. I finally decided I had nothing to lose by trying it out and gave Billy a call and I am sooooo glad I did!!
At first I couldn’t do as much but It was OK because the trainers give you modifications for all of the exercises so anybody at any level can do it. The trainers are amazing and the other people in the class are also awesome!! Everyone makes you feel welcome and will motivate and push you if they see you struggling.
I now have lost another 38lbs. since starting Bootcamp and I am doing exercises that I never thought I would be able to do. I actually have muscles in my arms which was HUGE for me since I have never truly worked out in my life other than the elliptical or the treadmill at the gym which was just not cutting it. I am so addicted to Bootcamp now It’s crazy!!”
“When I started my 6 week body transformation, my main goal was to improve my endurance. I decided to assess myself with a 1.5 mile run and a resting heart rate test. In only 6 weeks my resting heart rate dropped 20 beats per minute! It went from an average of 62 when I started to now 42-45. Wow! That means my cardiovascular system is much more efficient. My 1.5 mile run was lowered by 90 seconds running at the same intensity. What was most staggering and cool was that at the end of the 6 weeks, my heart rate goes back down to its resting state so much faster than before. After about a minute of rest it’s down to under 120 beats per minute after being at its threshold.
While endurance was my main objective, I also shed body fat and built lean muscle without even directly trying. Now my body is more metabolically active and will be better at burning fat! And less likely to store it. I feel better than ever, more energetic, and now know I can accomplish even more. I was able to completely transform in only 6 weeks while running a growing business and raising an infant. And I didn’t even have to give up my life or even all the foods I enjoy. In fact I ate pizza the day before the “after pic” was taken. My goal is to now inspire others to transform themselves while also continuing to get better myself. Can’t wait to see what the next 6 weeks holds.”
“I can’t say enough amazing things about TBBC. I originally joined boot camp with my best friend as a way to lose some weight before her wedding. We set a goal to attend weekly for 2 months and keep each other motivated through the journey. When you set short term goals like that its easy to keep motivated. However, once the wedding was over and I could get back to my going to the gym here and there- I found I wanted to keep going back to boot camp. Billy’s classes are great- and change from class to class-it keeps you on your toes and before you know it, the class is over and you feel amazing. It’s not easy, but easy doesn’t get you results. He motivates you to work to your personal best by showing different levels of each exercise to adjust to your capabilities- so every person can get something out of the class.
Ive now been attending classes for 6 Months and have to say its one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself in a long time. Between the motivational emails , the great other members that attend and the supportive atmosphere, you feel like a part of a team. . It doesn’t hurt that I’ve lost just over 23lbs and dropped two pants size’s since starting with Total Body Boot camp. Thanks Billy’s for all your amazing help!”
