Jody Rosen lives in Plainview and is a teacher in Jericho.
Q: Take us back to what your life was like before joining the TBBC Program?
A: I’ve been exercising for a pretty long time. I have always enjoyed working out and taking kickboxing classes. I also love running.
Q: Why did you end up deciding to join the TBBC program?
A: About 2 years ago, I quit smoking and wanted to try something new and saw TBBC on FaceBook. I went out of my comfort zone and signed up.
Q: What was your first impression from the TBBC program?
A: The first time I worked out I was hooked. All of the coaches were great and everyone was welcoming and friendly. I loved that every workout was different.
Q: What aspects/tools of TBBC have benefited you the most?
A: There have been many benefits of joining TBBC.
1. I feel strong and healthy. I am still working really hard to reach my evolving goals.
2. I’ve learned that it’s not all about weight loss.
3. Every coach is different and amazing!! They always make me work hard and make me laugh at the same time. I feel like they really care.
4. I love all the people I have met. TBBC is definitely one of my happy places.
5. The most valuable benefit though is that TBBC has taught me how to come out of my comfort zone to grow and change. Entering and completing a Rugged Maniac with my warrior friends at my side was an awesome feeling!
Q: How is the TBBC program different from other programs you have tried before? What makes TBBC different or unique?
A: TBBC is different than a big gym because every workout is different. We all motivate and cheer each other on.
Q: Walk us through your journey. What results and benefits have you experienced in the TBBC Program?
A: I might not have lost weight(not giving up) but I’m stronger, healthier and happier since I became a warrior about a year and half ago!
