Friendships and transformations are made at TBBC 🙂 Thanks Amy for being a great part of our TBBC family!!
Rosalba is one more success story proving you just have to keep moving forward. So proud of your accomplishments with us at TBBC!
“Back in January 2015, I remember telling myself that this year I would accomplish my new year’s resolution, “to lose weight.” I think that was my resolution since 2007 when I had my first child and now it was 2015 and my second child had been born in 2011. I did get myself back to my pre-baby weight in 2010 so I knew I could do it again no matter what it would take. So, I started TBBC using a 1 month voucher that was given to me and I said, “even if I hate it, can’t do it, don’t know how to do it, I am not paying for it so I will just stop.” Well after that month I told my husband that I couldn’t stop because I already felt so connected with the trainers and felt like I would be missing out on all the great workouts. Well that was a year and a half ago now, so I guess I never did stop. The first months were definitely not easy and I could tell that I was out of shape and not strong, but I wanted to get stronger and better. With each workout, I told myself, “I can do this!” and I did. It really has become addicting and I look so forward to my two sessions a week. I tell anyone just starting out or people that are interested but not sure if they can do it that they can do it. Honestly, anyone can do it whether it’s their first day working out or if it’s been two years because the workouts are modified as needed. I know I can’t do everything but with the right weight, resistance and trainer, I have been able to accomplish anything I set out to do. Each workout is different and I can’t say that I have ever been bored. Even at home they have me working out doing 22 day pushup challenges and I am sure many more challenges to come. I can’t say enough about TBBC. I notice so many great changes with my body and my strength and I seriously would never go back to a gym using big intimidating machines. I am so happy I made the decision to take care of myself and I have not only reached my goal weight and a clothing size that I am happy with but I am a happier and healthier person now. “
Huge props to our boy Frank Walker! Frank has surpassed what he initially thought was possible and is now looking forward to even greater challenges. He has great energy unlike before the transformation and he made the Dean’s list for the first time! He credits his increased focus to his workouts.
It still doesn’t feel real. If you would have told me 6 months ago i was going to lose 60 pounds, I would say ur crazy. Everyone at TBBC is amazing. Keeping me focused and pushing me the whole way has been the main reason for my success in and out of the gym. Thank y’all!
and then a few short months later…..
Thank you to everyone at TBBC, went on the scale for the first time in a while and i am officially down 74 pounds since my start in July at TBBC! Couldn’t have done it without the motivation and support from everyone. Thanks for everything!
“I started bootcamp a little over a year ago, after realizing I’d gotten really comfortable in my relationship, and ended up gaining about 30lbs. I immediately was drawn to the tight-knit classes, the acceptance of everyone involved (from trainers to members), and within the year, I’d dropped about 15 lbs. I feel better about myself, better about my endurance and better overall about my daily choices. I think more before I eat things, and even when I want to spoil myself, I now have the knowledge to know how to do it without going overboard. That relationship has since ended, but my relationship with myself has only grown stronger, thanks to TBBC!”
Have you set any goals recently? It is such a great way to accomplish amazing things. The key is to not get discouraged if you don’t reach every goal right away and to keep striving and pushing forward- that’s what Colleen did…
So, my second goal that I had emailed way back on March 19th, I did not accomplish. As it turned out, I had to go to Los Angeles for work from June 12 – June 17th and so I couldn’t participate in the Corporate Challenge. Totally out of my control.
So even though that didn’t happen, I still wanted to reach my personal goal of running a 5k. And, I’m not telling you this b/c I’m looking for the points but just because I’m proud of myself and know you will be too. And soooo, even though I didn’t reach my goal on June 14 … I reached that goal today!!! Yay me! 🙂 haha I ran the Wednesday night 5k in Eisenhower park and although I came in 181 out of 193 people, I ran the 5k in 36:20 without stopping … my original goal was to come in under 45 minutes without stopping, so in my opinion, I killed it! So thats my starting point and I can only get better.
Thanks to everyone at TBBC for supporting me and getting me in a shape that allows me to even be able to run a 5k without having to stop or gasp for air. You all are great and I just want to thank you so much!!! 🙂
