TBBC’s IMPACT FOR SANDY!

WOW! What can we say!? TBBC is so VERY proud to have you all a part of our family!

We had such an awesome response to our Impact for Sandy event on Sunday, November 18th! Although many of you were unable to come out personally, you all gave to those in need in BIG ways! Some gave in items (coats, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc), monetary gifts, or your time. No matter what way you gave we GREATLY appreciate it! And we know all those affected will appreciate it. =-)

That Sunday we did some awesome things for those boot campers and their guests that were able to attend the event:

– We had an awesome kettlebell workshop given by Billy Riccio… He gave some great advice on how to work the right areas with the different kettlebell exercises. Important to know the right moves to be safe!!

– Our new kickboxing instructor Mike Caban gave some basics on how to get started with the right moves! He showed the proper way to hold your hands and how to stand in front of your opponent.

– And last but not least, Billy Hofacker gave an inspiring and positive talk entitled “Weathering the Storms of Life.” He encouraged us to think “What can I do for someone in need?” even if you yourself are going through a difficult time. Check out the video!

Now, for the moment you all have been waiting for….the total of the monetary donations given for TBBC’s Impact for Sandy Event…drum roll please!

$900!!!

We are EXTREMELY proud of all that gave and those that were able to attend the event. We are so glad to be able to give this to The American Red Cross in their effort to help those effected by Sandy. We will also be donating all of the items to those in need, however, the Red Cross does not take in donations of items. We will post once we know which will be the best place to donate those items you gave for the Sandy victims.

Once again we thank all who were able to contribute, whether you attended the Impact for Sandy event, gave a monetary donation, or gave a physical donation, and know that those who receive these special gifts will be forever grateful.

Below is the list of those that gave monetarily:
